Lifeline Wellness Institute

GETTING TO KNOW US

What Is Lifeline Wellness Institute?

Two decades of nature-based healing, a residential campus in Knoxville, Illinois, and a growing community learning to treat health as a whole — body, mind, and spirit together.

Lifeline community kitchen and care team

If you've only ever seen Lifeline through a single email — a Detox Your Health promo, a KYH Camp date, a workshop invite — it's easy to mistake us for a lineup of programs. We're not. We're a wellness community built around one belief: that lasting health comes from treating the whole person, not chasing symptoms one at a time.

For over 20 years, Lifeline Wellness Institute has helped people reverse chronic, lifestyle-driven health conditions through a holistic, nature-based approach — first through in-person residential retreats, and now through a full digital ecosystem that brings the same guidance into people's homes, wherever they are.

Where it started

Lifeline's roots are in residential care. What began as a wellness retreat on our campus in Knoxville, Illinois grew, over two decades, into a program that has worked with thousands of people looking to genuinely change their health trajectory — not with a fad diet or a temporary fix, but through structured, guided lifestyle transformation. That original campus is still very much active today, hosting our residential programs and Know Your Health Camps.

What's changed is reach. The same methodology that used to require a stay on campus is now available through the Lifeline Wellness App — meaning the guidance, structure, and care that once lived only at the retreat can now travel home with you.

"Health isn't a program you complete. It's a relationship you build with your own body."

Our philosophy: eight natural foundations

Lifeline's approach is built on a simple, old idea that modern wellness culture keeps rediscovering: the body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself when it's given the right conditions. Our programs are all built around eight natural foundations of health:

Fresh AirOxygen, circulation, and clean environments
SunlightNatural light exposure and its role in mood and rhythm
RestSleep quality and true recovery, not just downtime
ExerciseMovement as medicine, not punishment
NutritionWhole, plant-forward foods that support healing
TemperanceBalance and moderation in daily habits
WaterHydration, internally and externally
Trust & CommunityEmotional and spiritual grounding, not faced alone

Every program we run — from a 7-day home reset to a full residential stay — is a different door into the same eight foundations. Nothing we offer is a quick fix layered on top of an unchanged lifestyle. It's a structured way back to fundamentals the body already knows how to use.

What we actually offer

In practice, that philosophy shows up as a handful of clear, structured programs — something for wherever you're starting from:

ProgramWhat it is
DYHDetox Your Health — a 7-day, from-home reset focused on the liver, gallbladder, and intestines, with daily Care Partner guidance through the app.
KYHKnow Your Health Camp — a guided evaluation spanning physical and mental wellbeing, so you leave with a clear picture of where you stand and what to focus on next.
TYHTransform Your Health — a longer residential program on our Knoxville campus for deeper, guided lifestyle transformation.
SYHA structured multi-week program for building lasting wellness habits through daily guided action and community support.

Care Partners — and Welly, our AI coach

What makes Lifeline different from a typical wellness app isn't the tracking features — it's who's on the other end of them. Every person on a Lifeline program is paired with a real, human Care Partner: someone checking in, answering questions, and adjusting guidance to fit your actual life, not a generic plan. Genet Berhane and Miguelina Heavener, who lead our current Know Your Health Camps, are two of the Care Partners doing exactly this work in the DMV and Kansas City communities.

Alongside that human relationship, the Lifeline Wellness App gives you Welly, an AI wellness coach available around the clock for the smaller, everyday questions — meal ideas, quick check-ins, logging your mood, water, and energy — so the support never feels like it clocks out at 5pm.

A community, not just a client list

Workshops, KYH Camps, and residential stays all exist for a reason beyond information: they build community around a health journey that can otherwise feel very lonely. Our monthly workshop series — covering everything from nutrition to the emotional roots of physical symptoms — exists so that lasting change happens alongside other people going through the same thing, not in isolation.

That's really the throughline across everything we do: nature-based methods, expert and AI-guided support, and a community that treats your health as a whole story, not a set of disconnected symptoms to manage one at a time.

If you're new here, there's no single "right" place to start. Whether that's a 7-day reset, a full health evaluation, or simply showing up to a workshop, every door leads back to the same eight foundations — and a Care Partner ready to walk it with you.
